Catch 21 revisited

Urged on by the reappearance of the thalidomide story in today’s news I went into my files and there I discovered the picture of John Nestor MD – see my post Catch 21, which now includes John’s photograph.

I researched the thalidomide story in immense depth for my BBC series Degrees of Error in 1999.

That was not the full story of thalidomide that I had originally been commissioned to write – like so much else, that did not get to the screen.
